That’s actually a cute bit of euphemism - it’s apparent that what Supes is
really saying is “… with your *ass* still intact”.
Lois might be more annoyed by over-possessiveness, Silver Age style : “A time-journey without telling ME?” Sounds like a good way to have a relationship argument (”Yes, Mr. El, a time-journey - and maybe I’ll visit a parallel dimension tomorrow without checking with you in advance!”).

Another thing I’m wondering is how the heck did Lois take a time-travel trip without Superman’s aid? I know Batman and Robin had their friend Professor Nicholas use his hypnotism-thing to send them back in time, but Lois???

It was the “villains from the future” who transported Lois in time (but they never realized she was Lois Lane, girlfriend of their archenemy, despite having accurate images and statues of her).
