Micronauts, the Enigma Force (Captain Universe), Prince Argon.

This is indeed from the Micronauts (circa issues 29-35). The Enigma Force is close, and while Prince Argon is a good guess, it’s wrong…

Commander Rann I believe regarding to who this was aimed. (From Prince Wayfinder’s tomb in the Dead Zone.) It was the Micronauts during the early 30s if I’m not mistaken. I think Pat Broderick was still on the art and Mantlo of course was writing.
Micronauts was the first regular comic I started picking up as a kid. It is still one of my all time faves.
I about freaked when I saw you had posted the quote.

Ack! Now you make me want to go dig out all of the issues of volume one from that. I hated the New Voyages stuff but now I’ve got a hanker’n for some Karza, Argon, Pharoid, Homeworld, and such.

All I can tell you is what’s already been said: The comic was Micronauts, the Keys were teh Keys to the Enigma Force.
And Micronauts was one of the first two or three comics I ever subscribed to — Micronauts, X-Men, and Elfquest.

You subscribed too? So did I after it went to Direct Sales.
Do they still offer subscriptions to comics?
