Just some random bits that have caught my interest lately:

One of my patients scheduled for tomorrow suffers from a mild form of the blood disease porphyria. This is the condition that some people have been claiming is the basis of the vampire legend. “Not True!” claims the Straight Dope.
Titans Tower. The best resource for any fan of any incarnation of the Teen Titans (except maybe the Team Titans, but then, did they really count?)
Dublin Dr. Pepper Bottling Company. The only place where the original recipe Dr. Pepper is available.
Somehow, Polite Dissent has become the top result on Goolge when searching for Bwana Beast. Thus, I’m sad to report that the new DC Encyclopedia does not feature an entry on the illustrious hero. Hawk and Dove have an entry though.
