Today’s example of the psychic nosebleed features Aquaman — or really Aquaboy, as it comes from the Sins of Youth: Aquaboy/Lagoon Man one shot. In this scene, Aquaboy is using his mental-telepathy-with-sea-creatures on the ensorcelled princess Nuada, trying to convince her that she is not an octopus.

Did you see Hellboy 2? It featured both psychic nosebleeds and pieces of metal dangerously approaching the main character’s heart.

Nosebleeds aside: what’s with the strangely-spelled Irish Gaelic / Gaeilge? Did the island sink and no one tell us? (That said, with the rain we’ve been having lately, it might be hard to tell…)
