This week’s example of the psychic nosebleed comes from the recent X-Men #204, where the mutant precog unimaginatively named “Blindfold” has what can only be described as a really bad premonition.

These psychic nosebleed zen moments have crossed “psychic powers” off of my christmas list for good! I can’t beleive that this happens as much as it does! It’s crazy stuff! Wait one minute… is blindfold wearing… a blindfold? That is awefully unimaginative. Poor girl. Thats like calling cyclops “weird visor thing over his eyes man” although I don’t think that would take away from how cool he really is.

To be fair, Blindfold has skin grown over where her eyes should be. I suspect the Blindfold is simply so she doesn’t creep people out ever more than she usually does.

Yeah the blindfold refers to the icky mutant skin-over-eyes thing, and not the actual blindfold she wears.
