    Is this an example of Psychic and/or Magical Nosebleed Zen - brought about by all that heavy lifting the brain does when using a non-visual power, or one of the more common “Smacked in the face with a Super-power” Nosebleed?

    The art’s not clear. There doesn’t seem to be any physical contact (magic or otherwise), so it’s more a direct magical assault on the brain that leads to deaths and assorted bleeding orfices.
