Astonishing X-Men #16 (Mild Spoilers)
Finally had time to sit down and read Astonishing X-Men #16. A quick read, but a good one. Particularly nice fight scene between Kitty and Emma…which is as it should be since we’ve been waiting since issue #1 for it (or Uncanny X-Men #151-152, if you really want to know the truth).
As for the revelation of the identity of the secret fifth member of the Hellfire Club. Who would’ve guessed that it was really Ben Casey…but it makes a certain amount of sense.
Seriously, I suspect in one way or another it will come down to Mastermind. He was a key player in the era Whedon seems to draw his inspiration from, not to mention he’s been involved with the Hellfire Club before. Mastermind. You heard it here first.

…isint Mastermind dead?
Wouldnt mean he couldnt come back, but should take some more work on Whedon’s part.

That’s a really good pick. MM had a big wide hood too at some point, if I remember correctly.

Lady Mastermind is currently used in Carey’s X-MEN.
Of course, there’s also his OTHER daughter, created to explain why Lady Mastermind was running around at the same time in two books in 2002.
