PSA Monday: Not Wanted — High School Dropouts!

In honor of another school year starting up again, I thought I’d post a “Kids! Stay in School!” PSA from Silver Age DC Comics.
Written by Jack Schiff with art by Shelfon Moldoff, this PSA originally appeared in DC comics from August 1962. It was repeated the next year in comics from June. This particular image was scanned in from a reading copy of Flash #137 (“Vengence of the Immortal Villain!”, June 1963).

I had the pleasure of meeting Sheldon “Shelley” Moldoff and his wife in the early 90’s at a small comic book show. They were extremely pleasant and related humorous stories about Bob Kane. I bought a beautiful “Batman in his lab” sketch that I proudly display.
